REQUIREMENTS FOR LIBRARY DIRECTOR POSITION:

Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from an accredited ALA educational institution. Candidates must have an outstanding record in leadership while working in a supervisory position. Must have strong interpersonal skills. Must have strong written and oral communication skills and technical skills.
A cover letter, a resume' and a one-page public library philosophy must be uploaded within the application.

REQUIREMENTS FOR LIBRARY SUBSTITUTE POSITION:

Must be available for all system branches with little or no notice. Must have dependable transportation.
Must have technical skills.
Must have skills in Customer Service.
Must be trained at the McComb Library. Must be flexible in hours.

REQUIREMENTS FOR BRANCH MANAGER POSITION
​
Some college preferred.
Must have some background in leadership, preferably in a library setting.
Must have skills in Customer Service.
Must have technical skills.
Must know the Dewey Decimal System.
